I am a Professor of Radiology at Tampere University and Section Chief of Neuroradiology at Turku University Hospital. My research combines artificial intelligence with advanced MRI to improve diagnostic accuracy in head and neck imaging, emergency radiology, and neuropsychiatric brain imaging.
I hold European diplomas in both neuroradiology (EDiNR) and head & neck radiology (EBiHNR), and serve as Education Committee Chair of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology (ESHNR) and Education Committee Member of the European Society of Radiology (ESR).
